Detailed Project Report completed for the Induwa Khola PRoR Hydropower Project

The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Induwa Khola Peaking Run-of-River Hydropower Project has been completed by Units Engineering Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (UECPL). The report finalizes the engineering design criteria for the 24.921 MW scheme in Makalu Rural Municipality, Sankhuwasabha District, Koshi Province.

The project is designed to deliver 146.631 GWh of saleable energy per year, operating with a net head of 499 m and a design discharge of 5.85 m³/s, with up to six hours of daily peaking capability. Power will be evacuated through a 9 km, 132 kV transmission line to the Isuwa Khola Cascade Hydroelectric Project substation.

Construction is planned over a 36-month period from the date of commencement.
