Company Background
Vision Tesla Power Pvt. Ltd. is a Nepali independent power producer (IPP), registered with the Company Registrar's Office, acting as the sole project developer and promoter of the Induwa Khola PRoR Hydropower Project (24.921 MW) in Makalu Rural Municipality, Sankhuwasabha District, Koshi Province.
The company was established to help address Nepal's energy deficit through viable run-of-river schemes that make the most of localized hydrology. Its work to date has moved the Induwa Khola project from a greenfield structural assessment through to full pre-construction and mobilization planning.
The Detailed Project Report was completed in July 2025 by Units Engineering Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (UECPL), finalizing the design criteria — including up to six hours of daily peaking capability. The project is planned for commissioning within 36 months from the start of construction, adding 146.631 GWh of clean energy to the national grid each year.
Looking further ahead, the company intends to expand its generation footprint to cover multiple high-yield renewable projects across Nepal.
